Burlington's popular North Beach Park is open from May 1 to Labor Day. To most, the Lake Champlain beach is the reason to come, but the park also has a playground, snack bar, and picnic area. The beach is lifeguarded daily during the high season. From the beach, you can kayak or swim; the Burlington Bike Path passes just outside the park, too.
