- Located on Beach Blvd. at the Ulman Avenue intersection is the city's public pier. Use of the pier is offered to the public at no charge. It is a lighted pier going out 1000'+ into the Bay of St. Louis and offers a great opportunity for public fishing. The pier is also used for family picnics in any one of the several pavilion areas and as a walking track for exercise. Swimming and diving are not allowed. This pier is handicapped accessible and offers access to the public beach. It is expected that public parking will be expanded and restroom facilities offered in a third construction phase to begin in early 2000.
