Our favorite Kauai beach

Great beach. Only problem is mid-day when the sun makes the sand so hot you have to wear sandals to/from the water. Mixture of calm cove-like beach with lava rock finger that you can jump from into the surf between a small outcropping.

Lumahai Beach, kawaii is my favorite beach in the world. My family and I go there every year when we visit Kawaii. First, you don't have to take that hard trail down to the beach, you can just drive north a little ways and there is a large parking area and you can hike the long stretch of beach to the more secluded "famous" beach.
