At the end of John Daly Blvd you'll fins Thornton Beach State Park. Here sloping dunes lead down to the spectacular (if often wild and windswept) stretch of coastline. Hiking, biking, and riding trails run through the park, and amateur botanist will delight at the indigenous plant life growing here among the dunes. Fishing is permitted.
